Mortgages first piqued Stephanie's interest when she started out in real estate, but it wasn't until she purchased her own first property and met Danny Ibrahim, the principal broker and CEO of KeyRate, that she realized the financial side of home-buying was where she belonged.
While originally working as the Head Processor of KeyRate, she learned the importance of being extremely detail-oriented and what information to get from client's upfront. She worked closely with all parties involved in a transaction to ensure every client was given a tailor-made mortgage solution in a timely manner, regardless of their financial situation.
Since becoming a licensed agent, Stephanie has assisted in closing more than $200 million in mortgages, all while onboarding and training new agents and processors and making her clients’ experiences as seamless as possible. She then upgraded her licence and title from mortgage agent to mortgage broker. Stephanie started her career as a broker slowly to ensure that when she was given a referral, she knew exactly how to take care of her clients from start to finish. Stephanie always takes a client-centric approach to her business, going above and beyond for every borrower.
Stephanie is now a Team Leader to 7 mortgage agents within KeyRate and is consistently working with them and for them to ensure that their clients' needs are always being met. She loves seeing others become successful and works tirelessly to help them in achieving their goals and full potential in whatever capacity possible.
“By staying current with all the changes that take place in the mortgage industry on a daily basis and being adaptable, I have personally been able to turn negative and complicated scenarios into a positive closing experience,” she says.
Stephanie is no stranger to hard work, which has helped her find success early in her mortgage career. She was named a "Rising Star" in 2020 by CMP as well as being named on the CMP "Hot List" for 2021. "Being nominated and winning such awards have boosted my confidence and my drive to constantly test my grit." she says.
